Contribute to the DSpace Development Fund
The newly established DSpace Development Fund supports the development of new features prioritized by DSpace Governance. For a list of planned features see the fund wiki page.
Scope and Use Case
The Permanently Delete option is exercised when an authorized user wants to permanently delete an item (metadata + bitstreams) from the repository.
Apart from permanently deleting an item, options like “Withdraw item from the repository” and “Make item non-discoverable” can temporarily help disable the content access.
Target Audience
- Repository Administrators
- Community Administrators
