  1. I wonder if we need a new section of the manual here, to bring together the tasks that curators do - i.e. the 'super-users' like my colleagues who create new collections, approve items, edit metadata etc almost entirely through the user interface, only rarely using the command line. Our team has our own set of wiki pages for Edinburgh DataShare 'procedures' - see the headings below. It's taken us a lot of work to put these together. I haven't really been able to find an equivalent collection of protocols in this manual. Maybe I just haven't stumbled into it yet...? If indeed this is a gap in the DSpace documentation, I think our DataShare wiki content could be taken as a starting point for filling that gap. But we do have quite a lot of customisation and configuration we've done over the years, it's not out-of-the-box DSpace, so the content would need to be checked and adapted before it could be copied over.
