Enabling

Follow these steps to automatically add new books from one or more collections to a list:

• Select the target library and navigate to the Lists tab.
• Select the desired list (or create it, if necessary).
• Expand the Add from collections section near the top of the page and check the boxes of the collection(s) from which you wish to add books automatically.
• Save the list.

Disabling

To stop automatically adding new books to a list from one or more collections:

• Select the target library and navigate to the Lists tab.
• Select the desired list.
• Expand the Add from collections section near the top of the page and uncheck the boxes of the collection(s) from which you no longer wish to add books automatically.
• Save the list.

Important Notes

1. Only works added to a collection while the box is checked will be added to a list, so if you want every item from a collection to make it into a list, you MUST enable that collection for that list immediately after creating that collection (after creating the list, if you hadn't already).
2. Currently, adding works that were imported into a collection before the collection was enabled for a list is not possible through the administrative UI

A possible rationale for (1) is that it may sometimes be desirable (or even necessary) to remove an item from a list, even if that item is part of a collection whose items are added automatically.
