Building a Source Authority for people with DSpace

Longsight ( https://www.longsight.com ) Service Provider DuraSpace registered, he has recently conducted with the Pingry School to solve the problem of being able to integrate the history of 100 years of school pupils and staff as the selectable people during the presentation. The basic approach to solve this DSpace, it would have been to submit names of people as plain text, which would imply a doubling of writing, and may introduce inaccuracies. Because these historical records do not exist in a world controlled by the existing authority, as ORCID or Library of Congress of names, existing control system there is no authority for them. Therefore, Longsight came up with the specifications for the Pingry school to build a web service on top of its database of the local population. Longsight then extended control system DSpace Authority to integrate with the data system Pingry. As a result, senders have the ability to autofill authors of records.
