Join us for the 2nd annual Virtual Fedora Showcase taking place this October. This 3-day event will take place online and bring our Fedora community together in one (virtual) place to share, learn and engage with each other. This event is FREE for all attendees and we are looking forward to hosting a wide variety of presenters from institutions around the world sharing their work with others.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you're a longtime Fedora user or new to the software, there is something for everyone. And there might just be some fun interactive games and activities for those who are interested (wink)

We cannot wait to see you in October! Stay tuned here for details as they unfold.

Call for Presentations is now open: https://forms.gle/ahLv6bh3SJYorm1M8

Submit your presentation idea before August 30, 2024

Don’t think your work is interesting enough?! I bet you’re wrong. Without a doubt there is a fellow Fedora user or community member who is working through the exact same thing at this very moment. Sharing your work is valuable for everyone, so please consider submitting a presentation idea today.

Presentation ideas can include, but are not limited to the following suggestions:

  • Interesting or unique Fedora implementations
  • Infrastructure show-and-tell
  • How your institution handled recent upgrades or tweaks within your system to solve a problem
  • The good, the bad and the ugly – sharing work that didn’t go so well and what you learned from it
  • Migration stories (Doesn’t have to be Fedora 6 migration stories!)
  • Upcoming work and how you are preparing for it
  • Cool new collections you are working on
  • General Fedora updates from your institution
  • No labels
