  • Giulia
    • Tried to establish a Windows dev environment but ran into too many configuration issues so switched to Linux
    • Build crashed on Linux; likely an issue with Java 1.7.0.65. Will downgrade to 1.7.0.55 and try again
    • Moving on to 'Remove redundant jms-indexer:reindex() method' once dev environment is complete

    • Ran into issues with Git push
      • Will follow instructions from Andrew to resolve
    • Started looking at testing documentation
      • Will start testing Locking
    • Compiling fcrepo4 took 30 minutes - not sure if this is expected or not

    • Working on Metrics module
      • Reading up on test library and looking at examples
      • Hoping to get everything together today
    • Asked hardware group to put a mount on the VM for local files for testing large/many files
      • Not sure how big the largest file is
    • Unit tests
      • Andrew will pass along an existing unit test class to help establish the unit testing pattern

    • Performance testing
      • UC Berkeley has METS objects with JPG data streams attached
        • METS contains MODS metadata elements, rights metadata, etc.
        • Also technical metadata related to the JPGs
        • Need to convert the METS into some combination of properties and datastreams
        • Giulia will create objects that resemble the kinds of objects UC Berkeley would want in a production environment
      • Working on Metrics unit tests
        • Will focus on these rather than acceptance testing this week
