Actions

1. Danny Lamb is leaving the Islandora foundation for a position with Born Digital.
2. Workshop went well for requiring some technical knowledge.
3. Release on Monday, changes to release process.
   1. branch is X.Y.Z-RC but the pom version remains X.Y.Z-SNAPSHOT
   2. Instead cut an RC branch and change the pom version as X.Y.Z-RC.
   3. Peter would like PRs to go against main and not against the RC branch.
   4. Instead of cutting separate branches we could just tag off of the main branch, new feature PRs would have to wait until the release is done.
   5. Release candidates would be released with a new POM version to ensure correct connection between fcrepo and fcrepo-storage-ocfl for past RCs
4. Release testing page
   1. What tests are no longer relevant.
   2. Need someone to test UI on Windows.
   3. Reach out to the Samvera community to test Valykirie
   4. Danny Lamb to try out Islandora
5. Fedora 5 - Modeshape release is almost complete. Still working on getting the java docs to be built.
6. Camel toolbox - some more changes on to Danny B's branch. Tests are passing, ready to release an alpha.
7. RELS-EXT conversion, what should happen in Fedora 6.
   1. People were hoping during the migration or after could the RELS-EXT, be added as properties on the resources. Seems like this is doable, but not part of the release.
8. There is some community members interested in XACML to WebAC conversion. This is not a clean process and depends on how complex the user's XACML policies are. Check with the community to see how many people have a use case like this and what people might be expecting/accepting for support.
