Interest Group Objectives

DSpace Interest Groups are discussion groups that are chartered by and usually sponsored by the DSpace Steering Group.

DSpace Interest Groups have the following properties:

  • They serve as forums for the exchange of ideas.
  • They report to their sponsor.
  • Often they are ongoing, with no definitive end date. They may exist for as long as they are active and continue to serve the DSpace mission.
  • They do not have charges or deliverables (other than reporting to their sponsor).
