Inaugural Conference – Zakopane, May 2025

Full name: Polish DSpace User Group Conference – Transformation of Open Scientific Repositories

Date: 18-20 May 2025

Location: Zakopane, Poland

Organisers: PCG Academia

The inaugural event of the Polish DSpace User Group. During the conference, 15 Polish universities, libraries and scientific institutions signed a letter of intent initiating formal cooperation. Signatories included Jagiellonian University, University of Warsaw and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. The programme featured lectures, a panel discussion on funding digital projects and the premiere of a new project by the Central Medical Library – the Polish Medical Bibliography built on the DSpace platform.
