A possible way forward

Community access to the core: major rewrite of profile pages
- Specification of profile data, including that retrieved by custom data getters and list views.
- Freemarker templates driven by the data spec
- JSON API drive by the data spec.
- A major effort: first guess, 3 months
- A major step forward in data visibility
- A major reduction in technical debt.
- Data specification includes limited display (e.g., max 5 publications) and extended display (e.g., expand to all publications.)
