The repository manager, John, has been asked to add an additional discovery facet on the home page for the metadata field dc.type. In order to do so, the repository administrator opens the "Discovery" link in the "Administrative" section of the side navigation. On this page, John is able to define a new discovery facet by providing:

• The name of the new facet
• The type of the facet: Discovery facet or Search facet
• The metadata fields
• Number of items to display in sidebar facet
• Sort order for each facet
