Notes

  1. UT Austin are running tests of Fedora 6, with MySQL and Postgres this week, hoping to get results next week. North American User Group meeting is coming up in a month or so, there is a form to submit talks.
  2. European User Group meeting was a success, many institutions are testing out Fedora 6. Berlin State Library has already done a lot of work on migrations from both Fedora 4 and Fedora 5 to Fedora 6. Seems to have been successful. Leipzig University is working on its transition but needs an OAI-PMH tool.
  3. Getting the Fedora API specification published, just need to confirm with the specification editors that it is good to go. Worked out process and permissions with Andrew.
  4. Start of a design available on the linked page. Question of when this might be done. Try for a sprint in April
  5. UVA Pilot, they are eager to test the validation tool.
