Notes

Announcements

    1. Andrew is working on this
  1. Islandora and Fedora Camp
    1. Successful camp
    2. Diverse group (librarians, admins, developers, systems admins, etc.) so difficult to dive too deeply into technical details. Fairly high-level curriculum.

Road to Fedora 6

  1. Sprints
    1. Looking for more participants
    2. April sprint will focus on containment and messaging
      1. Messages can currently be created but nothing triggers messages yet
    3. May sprint will focus on ACLs
      1. May need additional tasks depending on who signs up

FedoraResource and identifier translation

  1. Problem with mapping internal Fedora ID to external IDs, particularly when embedded in RDF triples
  2. Looking for consensus on the direction to go in
    1. Some Fedora resources are different but share an identifier (e.g. Mementos are representations of the prior state(s) of a resource)
    2. Translating identifiers for parts of archival groups
    3. Jared will start a document to work out the details

Versioning

  1. Peter is working on on-demand versioning
  2. Auto-versioning is currently working
  3. We can put together a demo of the different versioning options

JIRA Issues

    1. Jared working on this
    2. Depends on ghost node work
    1. Needs review
    1. Andrew will review

OCFL Implementation Issues

  2. Persistent session manager adding more sessions without removing any
  3. Concurrency issues when creating multiple persistent sessions
  4. Ultimately need JIRA issues to address - Danny will start to create these
