Notes

1.11

  1. The 'dev-search' branch has been merged!
  2. The 1.11 release has no current blockers
  3. Tickets that we would like to see get into the 1.11 release (noting that if these tickets are not merged by Aug 7, we will move forward without them in 1.11)
      1. Current pull-request seems to have an accidental mix of commits
      2. Benjamin Gross : thoughts on next steps for moving this forward?
      1. Andrew Woods to review... once 'member' ORCID key is acquired
      1. Brian Lowe and Ralph O'Flinn to review/merge
      1. Ralph O'Flinn or Andrew Woods to work this ticket
      1. This user-facing functionality would be great to have in 1.11
      2. Will need to add documentation for associated Solr schema updates
      3. How is this functionality support in ElasticSearch?
      4. Huda Khan , Brian Lowe and Ralph O'Flinn to review
  4. As for
    1. Suggestion to close as a non-issue
      1. There may have been confusion during the creation of this ticket since "start" has the same spelling in both EN and DE
      2. At this point, there is no current use case for separating the "start" term into different contexts
      3. This update introduces the risk of a backwards-incompatible change to the i18n configuration... with limited benefit

Docker

  1. Brian Lowe and Huda Khan still working on getting Docker set up locally
  2. Ralph O'Flinn puts Docker on the same pedestal as sliced bread

Messaging

  1. William Welling has some early work on VIVO emitting messages based on triplestore changes
  2. Team consensus that this would be a fantastic new feature... and an opening to rich new integrations
