Notes
Volunteer to lead/facilitate next week's meeting
- Danny, Andrew, and David out of town next week
- Bethany will facilitate, Jared will take notes
Closing the loop on fcrepo-camel-toolbox and fcrepo4-vagrant for 5.x
Pull Requests
- Jared is done with this one
- Some outstanding reviews to be accepted or dismissed
Import Export "mini-sprint" Progress report
- Danny's "sprint of one"
- Should be ready for testing soon
Streamlining the release testing process
- Can we reduce the number of platforms we test on?
- For example, on Windows we could just make sure it builds rather than running the full test suite
- We can revisit this for the 5.1 release
OCFL and Fedora 6
- Editors meeting notes
- Some discussion about a temp directory to use while building up an object
- Could be at the storage route
- For production systems, draft stuff mingled with archival resources is undesirable
ARKs in repository workflows
- Application-independent PIDs are important for resources exposed on the web
- University of Houston did some great work with using ARKs for this purpose
- To what degree is there interest in a call with them about this work?
- Some interest from the Islandora community
- Andrew can organize a call, probably as a separate special topic call
