As DSpace 7 development progresses we are committed to keeping you in the loop on the functionality currently in development as well as upcoming work.
What are we currently working on?
- The DSpace 7 dev team is tackling the search and browse functionality in the new UI based on Angular 2. You can monitor our progress on the project board and in GitHub.
What will change? What will stay the same?
- We strive to take advantage of the flexible and innovative Angular UI while ensuring that both the XMLUI and JSPUI functionality you rely on is preserved. (MM: I wanted to add a real example of such an improvement here, but not sure what's been completed yet - ideas?) We aim to bring you a basic alpha-level demo of search/browse functionality by OR2017 in June.
