Released: Mar 25, 2013

    • Enable graphical setup
    • Selection of DuraCloud storage space
    • Selection of one or more monitored directories
    • Display of current and recent sync events
  • A Spring and Camel based SEE as developed to a basic operational state
  • OCS was revised to work on the SEE using Camel Routes for the core functions
  • Integration with Sidora was extended to support its "Concept" and "Resource" tree
    • Image, PDF, and Text imports via DuraCloud we demonstrated using several Sidora content models
    • Extraction of LIDO and Dublin core datastreams were incorporated
    • The ability to edit metadata via domain specific forms via Sidora was demonstrated
    • The ability to organize the data through asserting relationship via Sidora was demonstrated
    • Sidora was able to update the Solr search engine with metadata imported from the OCS
  • Adding relationships between objects via OCS was demonstrating including a "virtual" directory tree matching the original structure on the researcher's storage
  • The datastream was added to contain metadata collected from the researcher's files, DuraCloud metadata and checksums demonstrating the ability to collect metadata early
  • A simple characterization tool was added to the OCS Camel Routes to show the integration of an "organized" flow of services through configuration
  • Java 7 support
    • The DfR code base now requires Java 7 to build and run. This update is necessary both because Java 6 is reaching end of life, and to provide access to new features in Java 7.
    • All client-side Java tools now require Java 7 to run, this includes the UpSync Tool and DuraCloud Tools used for DfR. Previous versions of these tools will continue to work with Java 6.
