Mission: This working group is looking at Best Practices for providing a search API to authoritative data. The primary goal is to define a path for moving toward a shared approach for defining and providing search APIs that share a common delivery structure and access mechanism using a standards based approach. This will allow for the creation of shared tools around searching authorities and, as a result, increase usage of authorities. The working group is a mix of providers of authorities, consumers of authorities, and developers who create the tools to facilitate the intersection.
First charter of the working group has ended.
