We're putting together a new, up-to-date registry of Fedora-related software to be listed on the fedora-commons.org website. The purpose of this wiki page is to solicit help in developing the initial list. This list will differ from the existing Fedora Tools and other pages on the wiki in that:
- It will include only software that is designed to work with Fedora 2.2.x and above.
- It will include links to software that has and hasn't yet been formally released.
- It will include all kinds of Fedora-related software -- whether a front-end, plug-in, dissemination service, etc..
- It will be delivered in the same style as the main fedora-commons.org website
- It will be actively kept up-to-date, with a form for submitting additions/corrections
For each entry, please fill in the following information:
Title: The unique name of the software product
Summary: One-line description
Status: In Development/Active/Inactive/Unknown
Compatibility: Fedora 2.x, 3.x, or specific versions like 2.2.1
Contact: organization and/or individual (link to site or email address)
Website: Link to the "homepage" for the software, wherever it is hosted
Details (optional): Longer description with features and other information. May also include links to demos, downloads, etc.
Here are some links that will be helpful in constructing this list. These are only potential candidates for inclusion -- some might not be appropriate due to their actual version compatibility with Fedora.
