  1. 4.7.0 release candidate status
    • Pending - message announcing the release candidate likely over the next day or two
    • Waiting on some changes that need to be rolled into the vagrant setup.
    • Testing time frame - three weeks ending October 14th, 2016.  If everything is OK, potential release around October 17th, 2016.
  2. PennState Import/Export sprint update
    • Nick Ruest reported on the status of the sprint.
    • First two days, great progress on the BagIt design implementation.
    • Additional review of the work thus far over the next couple of days.
    • Goal is to have stake-holders able to test by next week.

    • Suggestions on how new contributors can help move project forward. 
    • Find open tickets, assign yourself if you think you can put some resources working on the ticket, if you really can not, unassign yourself so that others can look into the ticket.
    • Difference between Recieved and Open tickts discussed; Received are tickets that anyone submitted; Open tickets are legitimate Received tickets that committers feel should have developer resources applied to it.
