1.  If you have not yet set up a GitHub account, please create one. You will need it to access the DSpace Issue Tracker on GitHub.
2.  Visit the DSpace Issue Tracker 
3.  Click on New Issue towards the top right of the screen, next to the "Labels" and "Milestones" button

4.  Click on Get Started next to Bug Report

5.  Add a title to the report
   
   
   
   
6.  Add a description
   
   
   • Describe the bug you encountered as accurately as possible.
   • It is important for the developers who look at your report to be able to reproduce the bug. Therefore, please include as many details as necessary in order to be able to reproduce the bug. 
   • Indicate which behavior you expected from DSpace
   • Link to any related tickets or PRs in the final part of the description box. When possible, if you know the fix, we prefer that you link us to the problematic code and/or provide a pull request.  It really helps us to resolve the bug quickly if we are provided the fix or enough details to replicate and locate the bug easily!
     
   • Feel free to add screenshots or any other files/media that adds clarification to the bug report
   • There is no need to fill out the "lables" section on the right side of the screen

7.  As a final and last step, submit the bug ticket
