Fedora 3.6.1 is a bugfix release, primarily focused on reducing the memory footprint of Fedora. All 3.6 users are recommended to upgrade to 3.6.1.

The migration to a new web services framework in Fedora 3.6 as well as updates to existing third-party libraries introduced a number of new dependencies, which substantially increased the number of libraries used by Fedora. Fedora 3.6.1 reduces the number of dependencies in the Fedora webapp from 106MB to 66MB.

Fedora 3.6.1 also addresses a number of issues that were unaddressed by 3.6 as well as two minor issues discovered in 3.6 itself. All 3.6 users are recommended to upgrade to 3.6. 1.
