Ed Fay - I'll be getting a train from Washington arriving in Charlottesville at around 7.30 on Thursday 12th - so should be good to go for beer/food by 8.30ish. Ed - the hotel is no more than 10 minutes gentle walk from the train station. If you come up the flight of steps onto West Main Street you need to be on the same side as Etoile restaurant and turn left and this should then take you downtown and onto the area covered by the hotel map (Simon)

Helen Broderick - I'm arriving by plane on 12th (United from Heathrow to Dulles (UA 939) and then Dulles to Charlottesville (UA7834)). Should hopefully be at Omni by 8pm.
