In the backend, this URL is primarily used to build UI-based URLs in sitemaps, email messages, etc. Therefore, it need not be set on initial installation, but it should be configured as soon as your user interface is installed. If you are not using the DSpace UI (and running the backend "headless"), this may be set to the URL of whatever you consider your primary "user interface". |
