   1. Aligning our fork with the latest updates
   2. Ben P has already run the integration tests and completed a build of Fedora 5 using this new version
   3. Planning on doing a Fedora 5.x release with these updates

      4. Jared has been working on this but has been unable to make progress
         1. Lots of internal logic that is difficult to parse
         2. Tests haven't shown any performance improvements
         3. Need more clarity around short vs. long-lived transactions when creating new resources
         4. Need to focus on improving write speed
         5. Jared will post his branch to #bleeding-edge for analysis

      1. Andrew Woods is the current maintainer, will need to rotate off
      2. Danny will put this to the list to find a new maintainer
