Kepler 2.0 is very promising with a lot of features that will help our project but it has proven to be very buggy at times.

PythonActors Python actors use the Jython 2.5.1 interpreter which implements a most of the Python 2.5 language. See http://wiki.python.org/jython/JythonFaq/GeneralInfo#IsJythonthesamelanguageasPython.3F for details. This is a significant improvement of the version of Jython supplied with Kepler 1.0.

The Kepler 2.0 Release Roadmap discusses details of what will be included in Kepler 2.0.
