Qa Sinopia Collaboration - Meetings with Stanford will only occur on an as needed basis. Authority request issues: https://github.com/LD4P/qa_server/projects/1 (prioritized based on "important" authorities and ease of completion)

  - Steven can run some workflows... needs to troubleshoot with Greg reload-auth-prod; error message indicated trying to hit URL that didn't exist... so Greg created the URL and it should be in DNS system now. SF should rerun and see what happens.
  - Greg and Steven have been working to push out updates. Steven configured a new authority. Had to deal with some issues deploying main. Will regroup next week
  - Lookup service has problems with fetching terms from LD4L cache. Greg will reach out to Dave to investigateAgreed to speak at PCC-Sinopia UG meeting in September. SF will explain that we are in maintenance phase for QA. Push to prod will have latest requests
Best Practices for Authoritative Data working group (focus on Change Management)
- 2022-07-21 : goal is to use this PM to reflect in best practices documentation – to share with others for review before 8/108-01 Steven and Simeon attended and there was significant discussion of editorial process

- 2022-08-04 Greg digging in to terraform as a potential replacement for cloudformation, not ready to move yet!
Containerizing the Cache Indices
- 2022-07-21 : No progress. Have not heard anything from Dave; Jason will ask him at Monday's PI meeting to respond to Greg
- 2022-08-04 There wasn't a PIs meeting so haven't yet checked with Dave

  - Jamboard notes to discuss placement of info
  - Jamboard notes on how info can be modeled in Sinopia and connected to catalog records
  - Huda has completed write-up of bibliographic sources, will send request for review

  - Steven has been attending some usability tests
  - Huda has done 4 usability tests so far and 4 more to come. Have been working with prototype and catalog, Dune based tasks. Takeaways so far have been that information prototype is understandable, "explore related items" page also being found and understood, people tend to look to left column first. Users not necessarily finding link to item page quickly, and not sure what contents will be. With catalog it is not surprising that sequels are not easy to find
  - Huda has been working with Frances to understand how to make atomic updates to our version of that catalog for testing. Have run into some issues with cache/lazy load issues in Solr 8
  - Huda still waiting for feedback on report on bibliographic sources, also shared draft with Jim Hahn

  - Usability tests completed before LD4 Conference. Seven in total. Presented on high level findings but should have final report done next week.
  - Next steps:
    - See if there are updates we want to implement in the prototype/some additional modeling for the prototype demo video.
    - In conjunction with that work, will look at Solr configuration issue (atomic updates without restarting server each time) & if there are additional things we want to model
    - Assess what we can/should share with D&A - maybe findings without next steps since this work relies on data we do not currently have
    - Sort out what next phase can/should be
    - Better use of FAST data?

  - Huda working through finishing the usability report from BANG. Should have that done by next meeting. Still to decide if we want to update anything for the final demo based on feedback, updating the prototype and doing a demo. We will aim to wrap this up soon though (maybe a week for the update and then demo the week after)
  - IPLC discovery days: we did include some LD4P3 work on the discovery overview for Cornell. (and of course Melissa did a great job for the D&A work)
Post-BANG
- 2022-08-04
  - Next next steps are: figuring out what to do for the final discovery phase. We have thrown around ideas related to ILL/items at other institutions. We would need to work out the linked data aspects. Also would be good to review what other options might be of interest.
  - NEXT WEEK: Start work on discovery workplan for YR3
