When viewing a node convenient forms exist resource, a convenient form exists to export the current resource or, in the case of containers, another form exists to import a resource.

Export

To export a resource or NonRdfSourceDescription, simply select the format. Note that currently jcr/xml is the only format that we can export.

Import

To import resource or NonRdfSourceDescription, select a file then choose the format in which the file was originally exported and click the "Import" button.  The imported content will be inserted as a child of the current noderesource. 

Note

We only can import resource and NonRdfSourceDescription resources encoded in jcr/xml format at this time.

 An exported node resource may not be successfully reimported as long as the original still exists because of constraints on uniqueness of system-assigned IDs.
