Install required software

Before installing VIVO, make sure that the following software is should be installed on your computer:

• Java (SE) 1.7.x http://java.sun.com
  • VIVO has does not been tested work well with OpenJDK
• Apache Tomcat 67.x or 78.x http://tomcat.apache.org
• Apache Ant 1.8 or higher, http://ant.apache.org
• MySQL 5.1 or higher, http://www.mysql.com
