The newest release of DuraCloud, version 1.1, includes several new features. The media streamer service can now stream media files added to a space after the service has been deployed as well as stream files stored in multiple spaces. Within DurAdmin, you can copy and rename content stored within the same storage provider. With this release, the DuraCloud Stitcher Tool is available as a separate utility and is also available as part of the retrieval tool, allowing you to "stitch" files back together when retrieving them from DuraCloud. This release also includes a host of other improvements and bug fixesthe most important of which are listed in the Release Notes.

Sync Tool: The Sync Tool is a utility which will allow you to transfer (or "copy") files from a local file system to DuraCloud and subsequently keep the files in DuraCloud synchronized with those on the local system. Note that the chunker tool's capabilities are available in the sync tool
Retrieval Tool: The Retrieval Tool is a utility which will allow you to transfer (or "retrieve") digital content from DuraCloud to your local file system. Not that the stitcher tool capabilities are available in the retrieval tool.
Chunker Tool: The Chunker Tool is a utility which will allow you to copy large files from a local file system to DuraCloud in a "one-off" manner and "chunk" those files into a size specified by you.
Stitcher Tool (link coming soon): The Stitcher Tool is a utility which will allow you to retrieve chunked files from DuraCloud and have those files "stitched" back together on your local file system.
