This brief talk will provide an introduction to Questioning Authority (a lookup service) and infrastructure set up under the auspices of LD4P3, the status of this service/infrastructure, and the outstanding questions about change management.  Speaker: Steven Folsom’s work focuses on sustainable metadata practices to aid in discovery and access of library collections. As a member of the Linked Data for Libraries (LD4L) and Linked Data for Production (LD4P) series of Mellon Foundation funded grants, he participates in the development efforts of tools and data models meant to aid the adoption of linked data in libraries.Thurs. 27 October 1PM Eastern (Time zone converter).   • Thurs. 17 November. 1PM Eastern (Time zone converter). Registration link Sinopia-ALMA connection: This presentation will show how enriched MARC from Sinopia can be posted into the Alma ILS. The framework for this data flow was made possible by the LD4P3 grant project ( https://github.com/LD4P/ils-middleware  ) that created a proof of concept for the ability to export MARC from Sinopia to an ILS. The demonstration pipeline is pointing to the Alma Sandbox at Penn Libraries. Speaker: Jim Hahn is the Head of Metadata Research at the University of Pennsylvania Libraries.
