This talk will provide a brief background the Question Authority (QA) Lookup Service, LD4P3's use of QA as the primary tooling for linking to authorities in Sinopia, and outstanding questions about change management for authorities in a linked data context. Speaker Bio: Steven Folsom’s career has focused on sustainable metadata practices to aid in discovery and access across digital and physical collections. As a member of the Linked Data for Libraries (LD4L) and Linked Data for Production (LD4P) Mellon Foundation funded grants, he participates in the development efforts of tools and data models meant to aid the adoption of linked data in libraries.
