Welcome, developers! This is the Fedora Repository Development wiki. Here you'll find information about the development team, resources of interest to Fedora developers, and instructions on how you can work with us and contribute code to the project.
Development Status
We released Fedora 23.2 .4 and Fedora 3.1 in Fall, 2008. The committers are now primarily focused on the 3.x line of development and are on track to release in early May, 2009.
Major items planned for the next release:
- Web-based Administrative GUI
- Initial Akubra integration
- Replacement of McKoi with Derby
- Alternative webapp context support (e.g. localhost/whatever vs. localhost/fedora)

Our future plans include:
- Working on high-priority features and bugfixes
- Redesign of Fedora modules using Spring Dynamic Modules.
- Improving Fedora software builds with the help of Maven2
How To Contribute
You don't have to be a committer to contribute code! We have a lot of things to work on, and love to recieve quality contributions. Patches for bugfixes and code cleanup are most appreciated, and are relatively easy to get approved and merged by an existing committer.
