This section regarding solr fields was out of date and is being re-written.

 


This page is under construction, but will:

  • be based on the de-facto default solr configuration provided by discoverygarden
  • explain the difference between string, text, and date field types
  • explain how the suffixes (_s, _t, _ms, _mt, ...) map to field types
  • provide guidance on which fields (based on their suffixes) are most appropriate when configuring Islandora (result fields, autocomplete, sorting, facets, facet pages, etc.)
